Otis Hunter began his painting career in Yakima, Washington more than 20 years ago, following in the footsteps of his father, Mack Hunter and his grandfather, Paul Hunter, who started painting back in 1929. Since opening Hunter Painting in 1985, he and his team have painted more than 10,000 homes and buildings.
Otis is lucky in that not only does his wife Kelly support
him owning a business, she’s helped him grow it.
They’ve have stained wood and painted walls, trim, concrete, stucco, block, brick, shingles.... you name it. And they’ve treated each and every job as though it was the most important job ever.

More than just a painter, Otis is proud to have received one of PDCA's highest achievements—Accreditation from the Contractor College. He is a member of the MPI Master Painters Institute, and has been an instructor in the Painter’s Apprenticeship Program at Pacific Lutheran University.
